Why Volunteer with SERT
SERT is always looking for passionate and commited volunteers. Joining SERT offers an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience in emergency medical response while contributing to the safety and well-being of the campus community. As a member of SERT, you will have the opporitunity to be part of a dedicated team providing both emergency care and first-aid education. SERT is student-run, meaning that there are also a number of leadership roles for interested team members.
Other Ways To Get Involved
SERT regularly needs volunteers to assist us by posing as injured patients during the application process each September, as well as our biannual evaluation of team member skills each October and January. This volunteer opportunity is open to anyone interested in getting involved with SERT but is unable to make the time commitment necessary to become a member. SERT welcomes volunteers of all ages. If you are interested in volunteering with us as an injured patient, please email sert-training@uwo.ca.
