SERT Course FAQs
Are SERT courses restricted to Western students?
When/where is my course being held?
Is there parking available?
What should I bring to the course?
Is there anything extra I need to bring to a recertification course?
For example, if you are taking a Standard First Aid and CPR-C recertification course on August 16, 2013, you must bring a current, Red Cross Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification card with an expiry date of August 16, 2013 or later.
Will my employer accept a first aid course taught by SERT?
Will I need to purchase additional course materials?
If I choose not to purchase the reading materials, is there any way I can review the information taught in the course?
Does SERT offer group rates?
A minimum of 8 people is required to set up a group rate course. Please note that SERT does not run public courses for Emergency First Aid & CPR-C, CPR-C only, or CPR-C recertifications, these must be set up through a private group contract. If you are interested in setting up a course please contact us at sert-contract@uwo.ca with the following information:
- Type of certification
- Number of participants
- Preferred dates and times (check out the course descriptions for times)
